- No refund/cancellation if travel date is within 24–48 hours of submission.
- Cancellation or refund may be requested within 30 minutes of submission; 50% of service fee is deducted as processing/cancellation charge.
- Refunds apply to service fees only; government fees are non‑refundable.
3. Non‑Refundable Situations
- Incorrect/incomplete information provided by the applicant.
- Application already processed or submitted to authorities.
- Rejection or delay by Sri Lankan authorities.
- Failure to meet eligibility or documentation requirements.
- Events beyond our control (technical issues, government system outages, emergencies).
4. Refund Request Procedure
Request a refund within the allowed timeframe by email:
Include: full name (as per passport), passport number, registered email address, transaction/payment ID, and reason for refund. Incomplete requests will not be processed.
5. Refund Processing Timeline
- Approved refunds processed within 6–7 business days from acknowledgment.
- Refunds issued to the original payment method used.
- Bank/gateway transaction fees are non‑refundable and may be deducted.
6. Important Notes
- Policy applies exclusively to applications submitted through www.esrilankaeta.com.
- Government authorities do not process refunds for third‑party services.
