About Sri Lanka e‑Visa

e‑Medical Visa
- Purpose: short‑term medical treatment in recognized institutions.
- Validity: 180 days; entries: triple; stay up to 60 days per visit.
- Requirement: medical letter or invitation from the concerned hospital/clinic.
e‑Medical Attendant Visa
- For attendants accompanying e‑Medical Visa holders.
- Validity: 180 days; entries: double; stay up to 60 days.
- A maximum of two attendants may accompany one patient.
e‑Conference Visa
- For participants of government‑approved conferences and seminars.
- Validity: 30 days; single entry.
- Requirement: invitation from a recognized institution, department, or organization.
Ports of Entry
Airports: Bandaranaike (Colombo), Mattala Rajapaksa (Hambantota), Jaffna International, Batticaloa.
Seaports: Colombo, Galle, Trincomalee, Hambantota.
Exit permitted via any authorized Immigration Check Post (ICP).
